Professional Experience

Prior to founding the CPA firm, David Mickits served as the president and chief development officer for a Registered Investment Advisor with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in over thirty states. In this capacity, he oversaw the design and implementation of the company’s corporate strategy, consumer financial products, and general operational infrastructure.

Previously, Mr. Mickits served as the chief financial officer for Classic Media, an outdoor advertising company. His leadership enabled the company to return to profitability through strategic acquisitions, the introduction of higher margin product lines, and expansion from a single market into a tri-state operation. The company successfully disposed of its assets in March of 2000.

Before joining Classic Media, Mr. Mickits served as the manager of Mergers and Acquisitions for US Oncology (NASDAQ: USON), the nation's largest provider of cancer care and research. His responsibilities included the oversight of a $150,000,000 acquisition department that performed business valuations, negotiations and ultimately the financial and operational transition of acquired entities into the company's vast healthcare network.

Mr. Mickits also served in various capacities with a big five firm. His experience at the big five firm includes SEC financial reporting, business acquisitions, combinations, and the initial public offerings of companies attempting to consolidate highly fragmented industries. Mr. Mickits is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a bachelors of business administration degree from the University of Texas at Austin.
